Jeanette Thomas was a remarkable woman who touched many lives. She contributed deeply to scientific advances in the fields of Biology and Mammalogy, and in her efforts helped to further animal conservation. She was an amazing mother, wife, friend, and colleague to any who were fortunate enough to have known her. Please attend to appreciate and celebrate her life in the way she would have wanted.

Jeanette donated her body to the Anatomical Gift Association in Chicago. There will be no funeral and this celebration is the only event she desired, as stated in her will.

During her retirement she spent most of her time curating her property and raising her alpacas. She would have loved to have shown her beautiful acreage to all of her friends and family. Please join us so we can all appreciate the hard work and dedication given to her home.
